Sorry for the late post about our play that we put on last week. Here are some of photos from beginning to end of our production of Rapunzel. On Monday we did try outs for all of the parts in our School Play. Tuesday - Thursday we practiced our lines and rehearsed the entire play several times. On Friday we did our first full run through and tried on our costumes for the first time. Then Friday afternoon and evening we put on the full production of Rapunzel for our adoring fans. We hope to have a video soon to share out with parents. *please note, the recording that we share should not be posted on any social media for the privacy of all students in the play. Today we had each student bring in a secret item and think if clues to tell the class in order for other to guess the item. We had so much fun describing our items and then figuring out what they each were.
Today was also Miss Laura's last day working in our class as she transitions to another possision elsewhere. We had so much fun making a Good Bye book for her and then guessing the silly animal erasers she gave out to the class. Thank you Laura for all of your help with our class and we hope you enjoy your new position. Your new job is very lucky to have you! I lost track of time to post our Sock Photo yesterday. Here is a picture of all our fun socks we wore yesterday! We had a Wacky Wednesday today. We dressed wacky, played wacky and took some wacky photos!
Today we read two Dr Seuss Books. "The Cat in the Hat" and "Green Eggs and Ham". We did fun reading and math activities about both books and made our own Cat in the Hat hats.
Yesterday at our monthly MNCS games we talked about being an Effective Communicator and played a game that required us to use our communication skills with each other. Here are a few photos of our Frog Team Communicating Effectively to get the hula hoop through our groups.
